Single Knee to Chest Stretch

Sit in a comfortable upright posture.

Lift your Left leg.

Grasp your Left leg with both hands at the knee.

Draw the relaxed Left leg up to a comfortable stretch position.

Hold for 15 seconds.

Repeat with Right leg.

Complete 4 to 6 stretches on each side before moving to the next stretch.

Be gentle: The stretch may be limited by hip or knee discomfort.

Alternative: Place your foot on a box (or wastebasket turned on its side).

Add a forward lean, while bending at the hips, to gently stretch your back.
